Foster agencies notoriously retaliate against foster parents by placing a 'Do Not Recommend' designation in the statewide registry shared among foster agencies. This effectively blacklists foster parents who have exposed agencies’ mismanagement or mistreatment of foster children, birth parents, and foster families.

We are compiling input from foster parents and agency workers to create a “Do Not Recommend” list of foster agencies, which we will publish to inform current and prospective foster parents.
